Sizes are the footprint of the stack - width by height. Every load is the same Southern Appalachian hardwood mix, kiln dried the same way.

A 2' x 4' is a handful of fires. A 4' x 4' will see you through a season if you burn once or twice a month. An 8' x 4' is a season for most people.
